Etienne Cake Boutique (ECB) is a small, local, family operated Cake Boutique that recently relocated to Memphis, TN. 

This husband and wife team run their online bakery from their home located on in the lively Midtown area of Memphis. Ray is the artist. She was born in Haiti but grew up in Florida. She works in the Operating Room at a local surgery center by day, and is a self-taught baker and cake decorator in her spare time. Steven is a Medical and Legal Interpreter by day, and handles the photography and social media for our Cake Boutique. And dishes. Lots and lots of dishes. 

With some projects, Ray has taken fresh flower arrangements and married them with tasty cakes baked in her kitchen. Other cakes are inspired by modern, abstract and contemporary art. Whichever direction you choose, your cake will be a show-stopper.

the ecb name

"Etienne" was an easy choice for the name of the boutique bakery because not only is it Ray's maiden name, but it's also Steven (her husband's name) in French. Voila! Etienne Cake Boutique!

Ray's overall style in cake decorating could be expressed with these adjectives: feminine, elegant, editorial, clean and simple. She loves clean lines and knows how to say more with less.
